Castledawson Broagh Rath
At the SSW end of a NNE-SSW ridge, with extensive views to mountains at SW-W. The interior of this rath is very overgrown & uneven with trenches & hollows, probably dating from the time the site was used as a Quaker graveyard. It slopes down to ESE & is 29m N-S x 28m E-W. There is no real height of bank above the interior as it has been trampled down. At NNE, the bank is 0.3m high internally, 1.5m externally & 1.5m wide. The exterior face of the bank has been revetted in places. There is no definite trace of an original entrance.
