Castledawson 'The Burial Garden' burial ground

This site is described in the OS memoir as "...holding of Patrick Drum there stands the remains of an ancient burial ground called the burial garden. There have been a large quantity of every description of human bones raised in demolishing the burial ground at some former period.". There is a local tradition of a burial ground in the "meadow field", owned within living memoir by a Pat Drum. This area has now been built on by a bungalow & the present owner has no recollection of any human remains being found here.
